Covering consumer technology for TheStreet.com often means plucking story ideas (and concerns) from my own life. My latest set of stories are very much related to the terrible cellular service I get in my basement, where I work.
I have T-Mobile and have been with the company for maybe 10 years (!!). In an attempt to improve my own indoor reception, I decided to look into new ways to do this. Devices like 4G signal boosters and femtocells are hitting the market. And there are several apps that can improve service a bar or two.
